So it was the last day of my Grade 11 first semester today, we had parties in different classes and also, a last assembly of the semester, which was really really memorable. When I woke up this morning, I actually thought that today will be a happy day because we are finally done with all our assignments and there will be parties in some classes too. But then, I started thinking that there are also some students and teachers who are leaving as this semester ends. I was like, oh I should bring my sharpies to school today so I can leave my autograph on my friends' uniforms. So during the first period, they played the graduation song -- Friends Forever. I didn't actually know about the front part of the song, I actually thought it'll gonna be like some songs that make us high. But then, it wasn't. When I heard the chorus, I stunned. Alrighty, it's already the second day of Lunar New Year, and it's quite surprising that I'm here to update about it. So I've been out for the whole day, yeah, instead of studying or doing homework. Went to Lydia's house for New Year open house today with hostel peeps and wow, it was a nice and big house. I thought we were late but no, we reached there and we were asked to sit down to wait for the lion dance. I was like, wait what?! I thought it was over already?! NOOOO.. I asked Lydia's mum if I could just hide somewhere else, she said, "NOO! You don't have to be afraid of lion dance." So yeah, I've had to sit down and watch the whole lion dance. To be honest it was my first time watching the whole lion dance performance but not all, except when they went around the house and did those jumping things. So it's New Year's Eve, okay, time for reunion dinner (: To be honest, I don't usually get excited for Lunar New Year because this is the time when you can see lion dances everywhere. And yes, I don't like and uhm, I'm afraid of it. Sorry people, but yeah for me, it's noisy and scary. *** In my opinion *** What I like about Lunar New Year is that I get to reunion with my family and get angpao :p Muahahaha I like the moment when we can sit together for dinner and chit chat. Those adults in our family usually sit around the dinning table and we, those kids usually sit around the smaller table or on the floor to eat. Hey there people, it's been a while since I last updated about my life eh? It's finally holiday now because I've been SO busy since Grade 11 life started. I have 5 subjects for this semester and yes, I don't have any study period. My life is now different from Grade 10. Marketing, English, Psychology, Physics and Chemistry. I'm not really worried about Marketing because, I've been paying attention in class. English is also okay for me since I've learnt the same thing in Grade 10 but it's harder and I'm in my favourite unit now, so yeah. I'm also okay with Psychology. As for Physics and Chemistry, tbh, I'm NOT okay. I have no idea what are teachers teaching about, I have to self study. I'm doomed whenever there are quizzes or test and I didn't have enough time to self study. So yeah, it was last Friday.
