Hi
Hi, it's been 10 thousand years (jk, about 5 years) since my last post. Yup, I've decided to blog again. Why?
1. To have something I like to do.
Awhile ago a friend of mine told me to find something that I like to do as a way to stop myself from procrastinating. Having something I like to do by the end of the day can motivate myself to finish everything I have on hand. I thought about it and I said, "reading", then I kinda thought it sounded boring.
Hey, I'm not saying that reading is boring. It's just that in university, there are tons of readings to do before class. Besides doing assignments, your only homework is basically doing readings. So yeah, reading a book after a whole day of reading school materials just doesn't really sound like a good idea.
Then I thought, hey maybe writing? I always loved writing because it helps to clear my mind, but it always takes so long for me to write. I guess I always have a lot in my mind, which may explain why I'm always tired. I hate writing papers, but I love writing about what's going on in my mind. I can spend hours writing, like how I spend hours talking to a friend. But the difference is that writing calms me down. Most of the time when I talk to my friend, I don't think before I speak (you probably know this if you know me well), but writing forces me to think about what I'm writing.
2. To procrastinate.
If you know me well, you know how much I procrastinate. In fact, I procrastinate more and more, the reason is something I'll talk about probably sometime soon (or maybe not, when I'm ready).
Yeap, so now I'm here, writing. I figured typing is so much faster than writing. And since I already have a blog from back then, why not just use it? I'm not sure if this is something that will last because I usually only procrastinate when it comes to school, which I'm done in few months. (3 months, to be exact, YES!!) Maybe it'll eventually be something more? Haha we'll see how it goes.
I'm not gonna delete my posts from back then though, it reminds me of how immature I was but then there were also good memories. I guess I can also see how my writing improved, not much but it's still an improvement. I know that you're gonna want to read my previous posts even if I tell you not to, so yeah I'm not even gonna bother asking you not to read them hahaha. Feel free to judge me all you want. :)
I'm not sure where I am going right now. It's 1am and I should be sleeping because I have to wake up early for work at 8:30am. It's okay, I have no class and I believe I can survive work and volunteer with few hours sleep heheh. It doesn't matter because I'm always tired regardless of the hours of sleep I get. I honestly don't even know if I'm a morning person or night owl anymore haha, but I definitely try to sleep earlier if I have class the next day.
I guess before I sleep I'll quickly share something I'm into recently, or I should say someone? Hahaha ok it's not something serious, it's just Jeannie fangirling someone.
Ta-da, it's this guy. If you're Malaysian, you probably know who he is. Phei Yong, a Malaysian youtuber, also MyFM DJ. I've always known about him but then I didn't really watch his videos until awhile ago my friends shared one of his videos on Facebook. It's the one where he went to Mexico and interviewed The Rock, Kevin Hart and also other people in the movie Jumanji. He also went for some adventures which made me laugh so hard. That's when he caught my attention, and yeah I spent the whole night watching his videos.
Honestly he's really talented. And man, he was born in 1994, 3 years older than me, but Feb. 4, which is 1 day before my birthday!! I was shocked hahaha. He's super creative, being an Aquarius like him, I wish I'm creative too hahahaha. But a friend of mine once told me that everyone is creative in their own way, which I agree, it's not special anymore if everyone is creative in the same way right?
But yeah, man, this guy. I admire his energy and sense of humour throughout his videos. He never fails to make me laugh, I laugh so loud in my room that my housemates can probably hear me. I'd say he's currently my favourite Youtuber. Sorry Ray Mak, I still love to see you covering songs and your cute little son!! Future youtuber I see.
I know I only mentioned 2 Youtubers in this post but damn, look at all those talented Youtubers in Malaysia, I'm actually so proud to call myself a Malaysian, like them. But too bad I'm just living too far away from Malaysia now and rarely go home. There's not a day where I don't miss staying in Malaysia. But it's okay, I'll work hard and one day, I'll be home for good. Time flies and I'm sure it will be sooner than I thought. :)
With that being said, I think I should end this right here because it's getting late. So nights everybody, or good afternoon to people in Malaysia hahaa, have a great day! I'm signing off! :)
